Dr. Devin Shaffer
Dr. Shaffer is an assistant professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Houston.
Dana Reed is studying the performance of new materials for membrane desalination, including covalent organic frameworks. She has also developed decision support tools for integrated water resources management in the local watershed. Dana earned her Master of Science degree from the University of Houston and her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University.
Parisa Taheri is designing membranes tailored for membrane distillation. She also studies contorted polyamide membranes and covalent organic frameworks for water treatment. Parisa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
Siddhartha Paul is researching new membrane materials for desalination and other liquid separations. Siddhartha earned his Master of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati and his Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Silchar.

Daniel Krizak is investigating new membrane materials for multipurpose separations for his Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University. Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University.
Pablo Bribiesca Rodriguez is applying data science tools to predict soil organic carbon concentrations from infrared absorbance, and he is studying immiscible fluid displacement in porous media. Pablo is a Civil Engineering senior at the University of Houston.
