Dr. Devin Shaffer
Dr. Shaffer is an assistant professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Houston.
Dr. Rahul Shevate
Dr. Shevate is a post-doctoral fellow with expertise in fabricating and characterizing novel polymeric materials, including covalent organic frameworks, contorted polymers, and isoporous membranes. Dr. Shevate earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and his MS and BS degrees from University of Pune.
Dana Reed is studying the performance of new materials for membrane desalination. She is also developing an integrated water resources management tool for the local watershed. Dana earned her Master of Science degree from the University of Houston and her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University.
Parisa Taheri is designing membranes tailored for membrane distillation. She also studies covalent organic framework membranes for liquid separations. Parisa earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
Visiting MS Student
Daniel Krizak is investigating new membrane materials for multipurpose separations for his Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University. Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Mississippi State University.
Pablo Bribiesca Rodriguez is applying data science tools to predict soil organic carbon concentrations from infrared absorbance, and he is studying immiscible fluid displacement in porous media. Pablo is a Civil Engineering senior at the University of Houston.
